A continuation of my amazing experience as a caregiver with the prayer and self-care that helped me through
This week, I would like to share with you the power of prayer. Prayer has been the cornerstone of my ability to feel capable of achieving success in any task that is ahead of me
Hello everyone, I'm so happy that you have come to visit today here @4The Love Of Quincy.
For those who are here for the first time, my name is Lynette, I am a wife and a mother of three. I am also a caregiver to one of my children, Quincy, who was diagnosed with autism at the age of 2 and is now 16. The Lord has inspired me to create this platform in hopes of helping other caregivers by providing helpful information, resources, health suggestions, and a place to connect and harvest our strength from our Lord above. This and many other things I have found helpful for me on my journey, and I would love to share them with you.
As I have shared in previous articles, here will also be a place where we will find prayer, comfort, and a place of peace. This week, I would like to share with you the power of prayer. Prayer has been the cornerstone of my ability to feel capable of achieving success in any task that is ahead of me. Now, does that mean that everything always turns out the way I had envisioned? No. To be fully transparent, as I am writing this, I feel the pressures of everyday life upon me right now. My husband has left for a 2-month tour in Europe and Hong Kong. Not only do I miss my Friend and Love, but also that person I usually lean on will not be home for several weeks
My weeks involve Home-schooling the kids, so that makes me the Teacher, Nurse, Counselor, Transportation Person, and the Cafeteria Lady for Lunch only; the Mom takes care of Breakfast, Dinner, and Snacks, but that person happens to be me also, LOL. Now, As a Caregiver, I have been the Speech Therapist, Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, and Advocate, These are my daytime duties, at the end of the day, I am still a Mom, Wife, and Caregiver. It is with me in spite of all of these other duties, they seek Love, Comfort, Compassion, and Support, and I feel privileged and honored that My Heavenly Father has chosen to work through me to provide for these needs and to be a blessing to my Family.
I absolutely love what I do and would not rather be doing anything else, but that does not stop those days or moments of Weariness and Anxiety, times when you feel you are completely depleted and defeated.
This is when I go to the Lord, and I sit in his presence. Now, although I do spend time with him every day, leaving full and satisfied, making the struggles of this lady’s lengthy To-Do Lists feel ever so manageable, I emerge feeling like a Winner!
However, I have to admit there are still days, somewhat like today, when I need the Son to shine his rays from heaven with such intensity that I can feel the restoration of his power. This is an example of when I lean heavily on the power of prayer and the care of my mind and body. Remember when I said in previous articles that on this platform, one of our goals is “Not To Look Like What We’ve Been Through.” Well, The steps I take in achieving this is, in addition to prayer, I rely on the benefits of some of my favorite Finest Herbal Shop products, such as the Finest Herbal Shop Immune Booster Teas and Tinctures. A cup of this Immune Booster Tea alleviates my body from the negative effects of stress and calms my mind, while at the same time using Finest Herbal Shop Tinctures providing me with instant clarity and focus. I Love that the Finest Herbal Shop Immune Booster Tea protects my immune system, making me less susceptible to illnesses, and keeping my body happy and strong. The Tinctures from Finest Herbal Shop leaves me invigorated and fortified, making me prepared for what lies ahead and allowing those I care for to see a much-refreshed version of me. Another thing I would like to revisit is the importance of Gut Health, I maintain good Gut Health with the use of Finest Herbal Shop Sea Moss. The Gut is going to be an essential part of staying healthy during this journey of Caregiving. Remember when I said the Gut, in the world of science, is known as the Second Brain. If we do not take care of our Gut as a foundational part of good health, I don’t care what we are doing as a healthy routine, we will not see the optimum results if our Gut health is ignored. Please read my article on The Gut (the second brain) and how taking care of it is beneficial not only to us but also for our loved ones who are in our care. Finest Herbal Shop Sea Moss can restore you to a life with good Gut Health and change the game on how you perform as a Caregiver.
The reason I’m sharing this is because my plate this week felt particularly full. It served as a good reminder of how my mind and body have benefitted from the use of Finest Herbal Shop products. So, I felt this would be a perfect time to share how prayer is my source of strength and also what I use for my body, daily so I can survive those days that seem a little harder than most. As Caregivers my goal is that we will be fit for the marathon and not the sprint and also we will certainly “Not look like What We’ve Been Through.”
In conclusion, I would love to leave you with this prayer titled “Prayer For A Caregivers” I hope it brings Strength, Hope, and Comfort to whatever you are going through at this moment. Remember, you are never Alone.
Love and Blessing,
4

A Prayer For Caregivers. - Tracy Robbins
Lord, help me to remember I'm doing your work.
Help me to clothe Myself with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, patience, forgiveness and love.
Help me to live out and embody the Fruit Of The Spirit love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.
Enable me to see my loved one through your eyes.
Help me to have compassion as you did and to follow your example.
Ease my burden and provide times of rest and refreshment.
Give me the energy necessary to fulfill my tasks.
Grant me the strength and extra grace to be able to handle things I might not normally be able to handle.
Help me not to lose my joy, and give me moments of laughter.
In moments of frustration, help me to be slow to anger into refrain from letting any anger or frustration give a foothold to the devil or lead to any sin.
Fill me with your love So that I am full that your love overflows out of me I do not have the sufficiency to pour this out of my own supply so I need YOUR supply.
Thank you for supplying all of my needs according to your riches in glory through Jesus Christ.
Help me to just be your conduit and means through which you work and help me to remember that it’s you THROUGH me.
Thank you for trusting me with this role of caring for another.
